How do I set-up eFAD Mobile on my Pocket PC?
You must have a valid eFAD username and password before you can use eFAD (Mobile) on your Pocket PC device. Also, note that if you are using eFAD over your phone network a "Data Plan" may be required from your mobile phone company. Contact your wireless service provider (example: Verizon) and ask them about adding a data plan to your phone. eFAD Mobile refers to the wireless version of eFAD that has been optimized for Pocket PC and Palm devices.
| 1. Launch Pocket Internet Explorer (PIE), by clicking on the Start (menu) then Internet Explorer. | |
2. Enter Mobile URL into the Pocket PC browser.
a) Click on the address bar (if Address Bar is not shown click on View & Address Bar see #4).
b) enter the eFAD Mobile URL in the address bar, http://www.pspda.com/ad/mob/index.html
c) click on the green arrow to load the page.
3. Once connected eFAD (Mobile) will prompt you for your User Name: and Password. Enter both in the box and click on the OK button.
Also, click on the Save password option and click OK, this will enable the browser to remember your username and password.
| 4. (Optional) To save screen space, it is recommended that you hide the address bar. | |
| 5. Click on the Favorites icon (located on the bottom toolbar). | |
| 6. Click on Add... | |
| 7. The Add Favorite box will appear, click on Add again. | |
