How often is eFAD updated & is there a charge?
eFAD consists of various databases that are updated at different intervals.
- The primary source for U.S information comes from the FAA and is updated every 56 days.
- International locations & some U.S. information is provided from the Digital Aeronautical Flight Information File (DAFIF) & is updated every 28 days.
- Airport Diagrams and NACO charts are updated every 28 days.
- The tail number, NTSB, FSDOs, repair stations, AM radio stations, and hotel databases are updated every month.
- Other databases such as the airshow database are updated once a week.
There is no extra charge as long as your subscription is current.
eFAD2Go Update (12/05): the eFAD2Go database is updated every 56 days. There is no charge assuming your subscription is current. |
