How is the eFAD Wind Chill calculated?
eFAD uses the new method from NOAA that was established in 2001 that more accurately calculates how cold air feels on human skin.
This new method is based at a height of five feet (instead of 33 feet), plus adds additional calculations to make the wind chill estimate more accurate.
