Why are images small on my Cingular Treo 750?

There is a known problem with the Cingular Treo 750 showing small images and not allowing the zoom option. This is caused by the fact that Cingular has enabled a web proxy by default. This web proxy is used to compress data (including images) on the (Cingular) server before it is sent to your device. This process will save bandwidth at the cost of compressing the images in a format that is too small to view.

Unfortunately the proxy settings are stored in the registry making it slightly difficult to make changes. Below is a technical document from Cingular that will tell you how to re-configure your device and disable the proxy.

Warning: This process should only be done on a Cingular Treo 750 and may cause corruption of your registry on your PDA.
