Airport Codes, Database Types?
Currently we have two database options available for registered users. They are the "All Public" airports database and "Major Airports" database.
The "All Public" database will show all Public Use (small and large) airports around the United States plus many international airports, this database is large and is mainly designed for pilots.
To open the door to travelers and others who don't need the smaller airports we have created a "Major Airports" database that will show airports where airlines fly and/or large airports from around the world. This database is much smaller and contains ICAO codes for all airports around the world. |
